❓ What is bydapeople?
bydapeople is a community-driven platform where people report local issues — broken roads, garbage, flooding, and more — organize meetups to take action, and measure local government accountability for unresolved problems.
🎯 What is the goal?
To empower communities to identify, track, and solve local issues together. By making problems visible and organizing collective action, we put pressure on authorities and build stronger neighborhoods.
⚙️ How does it work?
Here's the flow from reporting to resolution:
1
Report an issue
Pin it on the map, choose a category, add photos. Your report is visible to the whole community.
2
Community votes & comments
Others confirm the issue ("Yes, still broken" / "Fixed!"), leave comments, and share to amplify.
3
Organize a meetup
Rally neighbors for a cleanup, protest, or awareness event. Set a time, place, and what to bring.
4
Track accountability
Stats show how long issues stay open, which areas are worst, and how fast authorities respond.
5
Issue resolved!
When 10+ people confirm it's fixed, or the author closes it — the issue is marked resolved. Everyone earns points.
